Layout Editor Configuration
Displaying the Comments Tracking interface elements requires a specific ALIM Web layout configuration. If you are enabling the Comments and Review Tracking plugin on a new system, the layout is automatically applied when enabling the plugin within the AssetWise Web Manager as previously described (see Installation), and you do not have to make any other changes. If you have existing customized layouts in your ALIM Web environment, you might need to merge the required layout. If so, contact Bentley Support to add the Comment and Review relationships into your ALIM Web installation.
User Email Configuration
If using the Comments Tracking export and Comment Responses import functionality, you will need to ensure that your AssetWise ALIM user includes a valid email directory entry. This configuration is accomplished via the AssetWise Director desktop application. For details about how to configure email for users, see the AssetWise Implementation Guide.
